2.3.2 Employing CLIL

Review Materials

Welcome to the “Employing Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL)” Section of the ENRICH CPD Course. This Section first traces the history of the development of CLIL in very diverse teaching contexts, from the first immersion programs in the USA and Canada, to the European introduction of CLIL in the Council of Europe language policies. The relevance of the role of language in CLIL highlights its close connection with language awareness and the need of language authenticity in an ELF-aware approach. This Section includes 4 Activities in total.
