A new online teacher education course at Roma Tre University Revisiting English Language Teaching in a time of change:the English as a Lingua Franca perspective
The Roma Tre University and the EU-funded ENRICH Project are very pleased to announce the launch of a new online teacher education course, “Revisiting English Language Teaching in a time of change: the English as a Lingua Franca perspective”.
It is a post-graduate teacher education online course for teachers of English and for CLIL teachers using English, based upon the ERASMUS KA2-ENRICH Project (http://enrichproject.eu/). It is organized at the Department of Foreign Languages, Literatures and Cultures at Roma Tre University, in cooperation with the ENRICH Project and with the patronage of AIA - the Italian Association for the Study of English.
The course aims are to promote English language teachers and CLIL teachers’ competences crucial in today’s multilingual classrooms across Europe and to revisit teaching in multilingual classrooms.
The course -150 hours =12 CFU - will start on November 23, 2020 and will finish on April 27, 2021.
It consists of fortnight interactive lectures and webinars taught by a range of experts in the field providing different perspectives on the course themes. A practicum component will be carried out in the participants' schools. Portfolio based assessment will include a final teaching project.
