The ENRICH  Multiplier Event entitled   “Fostering  Multilingual EFL  

Classrooms through an English as a Lingua Franca Approach” was successfully carried out on Saturday, 26 September, online via Zoom. It highlighted the aims and objectives of ENRICH with special reference to the content and structure of the ENRICH Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Course.

It was an hour to have an internationally renowned scholar, Suresh Canagarajah (Pennsylvania State University), as a guest speaker whose talk attracted a great deal of attention of the audience, reflected in fruitful discussion in the end.

Furthermore, other guest speakers, Rita Queiroz de Barros (School of Arts and Humanities, University of Lisbon), Ana Gonçalves Matos (Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Nova University Lisbon), Helena Soares (Portuguese English Language Teachers' Association), Rúben Correia (ESPAMOL School Group / CPD Course Participant), and Teresa Hipólito (Patrício Prazeres School Group / Cooperating Teacher) all contributed to the event through their interesting and enlightening presentations.
